Remedial Massage
Targeted techniques
When you'd like specific muscles or areas worked on, our remedial massage uses targeted hands-on techniques. We'll agree on the focus areas and pressure with you first.

At Nancy's Traditional Thai Massage, we offer massages in Buderim shaped by Nancy's training in Thailand, where she was certified by the Ministry of Public Health. She has practised traditional Thai massage for more than 15 years and also holds an Australian Diploma of Remedial Massage. That mix of backgrounds is why our menu runs from soft, oil-based work through to firmer, targeted techniques.
Every appointment starts with a short conversation. You tell us the areas you'd like included, the pressure you usually prefer and anything we should be aware of, and we plan the session around that. If you're managing a health condition or recovering from an injury, check with your GP before booking.
We're open seven days. Call (07) 5456 4915 to arrange a time.

Each therapy on our menu has its own character. If you'd like attention concentrated on particular muscles, remedial massage uses targeted techniques, while sports deep tissue massage works more slowly with firm, deliberate strokes. For something softer, relaxing oil massage relies on long, continuous movements, and hot stone massage brings smooth, warmed stones into that flowing style.
Three of our options take a narrower focus. Reflexology applies pressure to points on the feet, and facial lymphatic drainage uses a feather-light touch across the face and neck. Cupping swaps hands for suction cups placed on chosen areas.
If you're weighing up two styles, describe what you're after when you call. We'll walk you through how they differ so the choice is yours to make.

Targeted techniques
When you'd like specific muscles or areas worked on, our remedial massage uses targeted hands-on techniques. We'll agree on the focus areas and pressure with you first.
Firm, deliberate strokes
Our sports deep tissue massage slows things down, using firm, deliberate pressure on the muscle groups you choose. It's an option for active people and anyone who simply prefers deeper work.

Long, continuous strokes
Long, unhurried strokes and traditional oils set the pace of a relaxing oil massage. Pressure can be as light or as medium as you like.
Warmed stones
Smooth stones are warmed and worked into the strokes of a hot stone massage. Let us know how much warmth you're comfortable with.
Foot pressure points
A reflexology session concentrates on pressure points from the heels to the toes. It's an option worth considering if you'd rather keep the treatment to your feet.
Light touch, face & neck
For a much lighter touch, facial lymphatic drainage follows gentle, rhythmic movements across the face and neck. No firm body pressure is involved.
Suction cups
In cupping, small cups create suction against the skin on areas you've agreed to. We'll show you how the cups are applied before starting.
